Manyokan Hitachi
“Manyokan Hitachi” is a steamed yokan jelly containing 80% of Japan’s finest chestnuts, Iinuma chestnuts. This product is made with the finest brand chestnuts from Ibaraki Prefecture, and is sure to satisfy even the most discerning chestnut lover. In order to maximize the size and softness of the chestnuts, they are matured for at least two weeks after harvesting and then aged for five days after production to ensure a good balance with the azuki beans produced in Tokachi, Hokkaido. Inheriting the chestnut culture of Ibaraki Prefecture, which is mentioned in the Manyoshu anthology, the product is served in packaging that won a silver prize at the global packaging awards “pentawards2022.
